Is compounded medication the same as brand-name medication?
No. Compounded medications are prepared by licensed pharmacies for individual patients and are not FDA-approved. Your clinician will explain your options and why they recommend one.
Do I have to get labs first?
Not always. If you are eligible and nothing suggests labs are needed right away, you can start medication and complete labs after. Baseline labs at Quest or Labcorp are included.
What if I want to stop?
Cancel any time. You can request a refund for any month, except a month whose medication has already been ordered.
Who is eligible?
Generally adults 18–74 with a BMI of 27 or higher, or 25 or higher with a related condition. A clinician makes the final decision.
